This page explains how to request deletion of your Your Events Team (YET) account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the YET mobile app and the YET web platform operated by Your Events Team, LLC.

How to request account and data deletion

YET accounts are staff accounts provided by the venue or organization you work for. To request that your account and associated data be deleted:

1. Email support@youreventsteam.com from the email address associated with your YET account.
2. Use the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.
3. Include your full name and the name of your venue or organization so we can locate and verify your account.

What data is deleted

When your deletion request is completed, we remove the personal data we hold that identifies you as a user, including:

• Your account profile (name, email address, and phone number)
• Your login credentials and authentication data
• Device identifiers associated with your account, including push notification tokens
• Your app usage and diagnostic data tied to your account

What data may be retained

Some records may be retained after your account is deleted where we are legally required or permitted to keep them. This includes business, financial, and transaction records (for example, records of payments processed for reservations or events) that we must keep to meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. These records are kept only for as long as required by applicable law and are then deleted.

Records that belong to your organization rather than to you personally (for example, customer and booking records your organization created in YET) remain with your organization’s account and are not removed by deleting your individual user account.

Timeframe

We aim to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. We will confirm by email once your request has been completed.
